Mackenzie, British Columbia

Mackenzie is a small town in central British Columbia, Canada, and is a municipality within the Fraser-Fort George Regional District. The settlement is located at the south end of Williston Lake. The townsite, established by Alexandra Forest Industries, and was named for Sir Alexander MacKenzie (1764-1820). Mackenzie's two main industries are logging and tourism. [1]
